We are growing day by day in the Industrial Gas industry in Sri Lanka as well as expanding growth to world market throughout exporting our products. Our History

Both Finto Enteprises (PVT) Ltd and Finto Enterprises will always be available for all your requirements of INDUSTRIAL GASES, WELDING EQUIPMENT, WELDING RODS ETC.

Our company, finto enterprise, with a solid experience of more than 40 years in the trade of welding consumables, and industrial gases. We have buld up a good reputation in this industry as the sole manufacturer of Carbide welding tanks in Srilanka.

We started our factories for the production of oxygen industrial gas and Acetylene gas. We also produce nitrogen gas and medical oxygen. Our company was incorporated as Finto enterprise (pvt) Ltd thus expanding the business to cater the needs of Steel industry and medical field.

We look forward to expand the manufacturing of oxygen gas, Acetylene gas, nitrogen gas and medical gases. Futher we are looking forward to expand the supply of welding consumables and accessories with our experience staff, and our island wide distribution network.

Mr. Suresh Gunawardena is the Chairman and Managing Director of Finto Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, a company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of industrial gases, including Acetylene, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Carbon Dioxide. The company also manufactures Medical Oxygen used for healthcare and hospital requirements.

With extensive experience in the industrial gas and energy related sectors, Mr. Gunawardena has played a key role in establishing Finto Enterprises as a reliable and safety driven organization. His strategic leadership has guided the company’s growth across multiple industries, serving the manufacturing, construction, welding, engineering, and healthcare sectors with consistent quality and strict regulatory compliance.

Under his direction, the company has strengthened its operational standards, invested in modern gas handling and storage solutions, and built long term partnerships with clients across Sri Lanka. He also oversees international business affairs, maintaining strong commercial relationships with partners in India, China, Thailand, the Maldives, and Japan.

I’m Viru Gunawardena, Director of Finto Enterprises. Having graduated from Gateway College, I began my professional journey within the family business under the guidance of my father, who is the Chairman of the company. Over the past six months, I’ve immersed myself in various aspects of our operations, gaining firsthand experience in leadership, decision-making, and day-to-day management. This experience has not only deepened my appreciation for the values and vision that have built Finto Enterprises but has also motivated me to bring a fresh perspective as the next generation of leadership. My goal is to uphold our legacy while driving innovation and sustainable growth for the future.
